An unexpected treat that will appeal to fans of strong heroine-driven urban fantasy. It clips along at a brisk pace, with enough worldbuilding to keep you in the loop but not to overwhelm with detail. There is some romance, but not enough to classify this as a romance.

It's light, fluffy, and there's lots of pink, but there's nothing wrong with a fun cotton candy book from time to time.

It appears to be book 1 in a new series, and I'll read any sequels.
